Strategy 

      Existing portfolio
  • Protect existing regular accounts; ensure that no UC account becomes classified.
  • Bring at least 50% of SMA accounts to standard.
  •  Reduce present NPL (19% as on 31/7/16) to less than 8%.

        New portfolio
  • Increase portfolio by 20% within December 2016 (at least Tk. 700 cr.) by new disbursement of approximately Tk. 170 cr.
  • Introduce specialized home loan, auto loan and personal loan.
  • Strengthening SME financing and women entrepreneur financing.
  • Increase SOD to depositors.

        Increase deposit and Bank borrowing and reduce cost of fund to less than 9%.
  1. Increase low cost (upto 8%) institutional deposit.
  2. Increase number of high net worth individual depositors.
  3. Increase call money from banks who are in lender category.
  4. Involve all employees in liability marketing. 
  5.  Strengthen treasury function.
  6. Avail BB re-finance fund.
  7. Increase deposit by 40% by Dec-2016.
  8. Repay high interest bearing loans.
  9. Increase credit line from banks.
       Activate UTC branch by Sept.2016 and open Chittagong branch by Nov. 2016.
       Update and improve IT & MIS to bring automation in entire operation and reporting.
       Strengthen ICC department to be a fully compliant organization. Rectify the problems, shortcomings and    non-compliance issues identified by BB audit team.
       Strengthen Credit Administration, Monitoring & Recovery department by recruiting at least one mid-level officer.
       Strengthen CRM department with at least 2 officers.
       Form legal unit with at least one Law Officer.
       Check all collateral documents and physical inspection of mortgaged properties of existing loans.
       Prepare the company for IPO and Basel-III.
